Why People Use It
Most agent workflows have a fuzzy branch right before the next step — which model to call, whether a tool call is safe, which queue a ticket belongs in — and that branch is usually hand-rolled logic. Jev returns a constrained choice, an ordered score, or a calibrated yes/no probability in a typed shape that application code can consume directly, which keeps the decision out of an LLM prompt. Billing covers input tokens only and output is free, so the cost of a routing check stays small.
