Develop a TV Series Pilot Concept

Develop a TV series concept and pilot outline for the following:

Genre: [drama / comedy / thriller / limited series / procedural / genre blend]
Logline (or a rough idea to develop): [one sentence describing the show]
Network or platform target: [Netflix / HBO / BBC / network TV / streaming — affects tone and format]
Episode format: [30-minute single-cam comedy / 60-minute drama / limited 6-episode / anthology]
World: [where and when is the show set]
Tone comps: [name 2 existing shows as reference points]
Core theme: [the big question the show asks over its run]

Provide:

SERIES CONCEPT:
- Full logline (one sentence)
- Series premise paragraph (expand the logline into the world, conflict, and stakes)
- Why now (why is this show relevant today)
- The engine (what keeps the show going episode to episode)

CHARACTERS:
For each of 4-6 main characters:
- Name and role
- Want (what they are consciously pursuing)
- Need (what they actually require for fulfilment — usually different from want)
- Wound (the past experience driving their behaviour)
- Contradiction (the tension that makes them interesting)
- Relationship to the central conflict

SEASON 1 ARC:
- The central question of Season 1
- Midpoint episode (what changes halfway through)
- Season finale reveal or resolution
- What is different at the end of Season 1 vs the beginning
- The hook that makes viewers return for Season 2

PILOT OUTLINE:
- Cold open (the image or scene that sets the tone)
- Act 1: Establish world and protagonist
- Act 2: Introduce conflict and complications
- Act 3: Escalation
- Act 4: Pilot climax and hook
- Scene-by-scene breakdown of the pilot

SELLING THE SHOW:
- One paragraph pitch for a writers room meeting
- 3 episode titles from later in the season (with one-line descriptions)
