**Surface Identity**
Name, age, physical appearance (2–3 vivid details, not a full description), occupation, and daily habits.

**Backstory and Wound**
The formative experience that shaped who [CHARACTER_ROLE] is today. What did they lose, survive, or learn the wrong lesson from?

**Core Desire vs. Surface Want**
What do they consciously want (their goal in the story)? What do they actually need (what they are missing emotionally)?

**Fatal Flaw or Contradiction**
The belief, habit, or blindspot that will create conflict and drive the story. The flaw should be the flip side of their strength.

**Voice and Speech Pattern**
How do they talk? What do they avoid saying? Give 3 sample lines of dialogue that could only come from this character.

**Character Arc Potential**
How might this character change — or refuse to change — across a story? What would their transformation cost them?
