## Character Profile

**Core identity**
- Full name and what it signals about their background
- Physical presence — not appearance, but how they occupy a room
- Voice — how they speak, what they avoid saying, and their verbal habits

**Backstory**
- The formative event that shaped who they are today
- The wound they carry but never name
- What they want vs. what they need (these must be different)

**Behavior**
- How they act under pressure
- Their one unbreakable rule
- The lie they tell themselves

**The secret** — one thing no other character knows, which will become plot-relevant

Write in present tense. Focus on contradictions — the most compelling characters contain multitudes.
